Explain why Father refused the earl's request to court Ella.
Father refused to court Ella because she was trying to keep something of her mother. Just to remind her of her mother. Maybe She wanted to wear the closes when she grew up. N.W
Well the reason Ella’s father loves Ella. Very very much and dose not want to send he to court. Like I said befor he loves her very very much.T.B.
The reason father refused to earl’s request is because it would have been a whole different case entirely. Also he might not be worthy of his wealth. Why should a robber sacrifice his life for his carelessness?D.H
Father would not help Ella because she wanted to wear the closes when she grew up, and she wanted to keep something of her mothers to keep. C.D

I think it’s Ella’s farther doesn’t want to put Ella in court because he wants her to have something to remember her mother from. This is my reason for what I told you because every child that lost a mom or even a dad would want to have something to remember them by.I would too if my mom or dad died. R.W.
